Aura: In God's Presence

There are some people who have this glow, that they have surrounding them. It is called aura. Then, there are some people, who actually are in tuned so that they can see this aura, not merely feel it. There is something almost electrical in the air.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you were on a bus or train and someone sees your aura and say..."Aha! You are living close to Christ! I can see it on your face!"

Moses had this happen to him.(Exodus 34:33-35) Moses went up to the mountain to talk with God. Even though he was not looking directly into God's face, he was in His presence. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face was radiant. It was like sunshine. He had to wear a veil to keep from blinding his people, as he talked about the ten commandments.

St. Paul, in his second letter to the Corinthians ( 2 Cor. 3:17-18) says that today, New Testament believers have contact with God because the Lord is also Spirit He tells us our faces are not covered, we all show the Lord's glory. He also tells us that we are to be changed and that change brings us even greater glory! ( wow!)

On A Peronal Note

I had my trials a few year back, and there was a lot of negativity going on in my life. A friend of mine said that surely, there was something wrong because my "....aura is all messed up!" ( she used a more colorful description)

It really shook me to learn that the negative energy showed all around me. I knew I was not walking right with God. From that point on, I made it my business and priority to listen to the inner promptings of the Spirit...(others would call that my conscience.) I know better.

I am no angel and I am not Moses, Stephen or Jesus. But, as long as the Holy Spirit dwells in me, I'm going to let my light shine.
